  • About Us

    Moondance Entertainment started in 1988 after it's owner, Douglas Webb moved to Virginia to start a career with the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue. Doug was a DJ at a local radio station in Pennsylvania when he took the job with the fire department. After a few years, he discovered he missed playing the music for people and started Moondance Entertainment.

    He has played over a thousand weddings in the Northern Virginia area can handle any situation presented to him.

    We like to remain in the background at your wedding. We are not in the spotlight, it's your day. Some DJs like to take centerstage, we like to provide a great experience for you and your guests without hitting them over the head with the "Electric Slide" every hour.

    moondance entertainment provides premier musical entertainment using 100% digital music on a macbook pro and Bose professional speakers. There is never an up charge for:

    • wireless microphones
    • wedding ceremony music
    • music videos
    • basic lighting package
    • up to six hours of performance time (you do not pay for setup or tear down time)
    • master of ceremonies role
    • basic ceremony/reception planning
    • weddings are one of the most important events in your life. Don't leave it to a friend or a cut-rate dj. We have done over one thousand weddings and we are very good at it.

    Your wedding reception is not a time to cut corners. Please call us to discuss your event today!

     

    People won't be talking about the prime rib the week after your reception but they will be talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor.
